Terms and Conditions
Fees
Full payment of the course fees must be received prior to commencement of the course. Your place on the course cannot be guaranteed until full payment is received by us. All fee costs are inclusive of VAT.
Minimum age requirement
You must be at least 16 years of age at the time of booking a course with us.
Additional needs
Students requiring any additional needs (such as equipment, access etc) are asked to inform The Floristry School when they book their course with us.
Methods of payment
Fees can be paid via BACS. No cash payments please.
Late applications for courses/classes
If there are still places available on a course, we will accept bookings on the day of the course.
Cancellations by a student
You can cancel your place on a course up to one month prior to the course start date. You will be entitled to a refund of the course fees.
If you want to cancel within one month of the course start date you will not be entitled to any refund unless a replacement student can be found for your place.
Any cancellation requests need to be made by email. A receipt of this email will be sent to you within 48 hours of its receipt. If no receipt is received please call The Floristry School by telephone.
Cancellations by The Floristry School
Please understand that all courses have a minimum attendance level and may be cancelled if too few bookings have been received.
We reserve the right to amend or cancel courses and we will endeavour to give all students at least one week's notice of cancellation. If a course or individual class is postponed for reasons for which we are responsible, including staff illness, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the class as soon as possible.
The Floristry School we will not be liable for any losses (including, but not limited to, travel and accommodation costs) arising as a consequence of any cancellation of a course.
Non-attendance of classes/course
Non-attendance of classes due to illness or for personal or professional reasons does not create any right to a refund.
Any students who are late to class for any reason are required to telephone The Floristry School to inform them of their estimated time of arrival.
Certificates of competence, attendance and CPD
Certificates will be issued for all professional non-accredited qualifications by The Floristry School either on the day of the class/course or within 2 working weeks of the class/course. Replacement certificates will be at a cost of £20.00 per certificate.
Materials and equipment
Non-accredited course fees include the cost of all basic botanical materials, (excluding Introduction to Professional Floristry Part 1 and Part 2) tools and equipment and certificate.
Full course descriptions can be seen within the website - all students need to make sure you have ready this and returned a copy of the Terms and Conditions prior to the commencement of your class/course.
All students are required to wear closed toe shoes or boots and wear with either a low or no heel. All students will be asked to wear an apron during the practical parts of the class/course.
Any Personal Protective equipment needed to fulfil the requirements of the course will be provided by The Floristry School.
Conduct
Students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. All students need to treat others on the course in a fair and respectful manner and to recognise that some students may require additional support and assistance.
Continued disruptive behaviours will not be tolerated and may result in a student being dismissed from the course.
Recording
The use of audio and/or visual recording is not permitted during any course/class.
Photography
Students are asked to photograph their own work only. Students are permitted to photograph the demonstration designs but not use these on their personal or business social media as their own.
Health & Safety
Students are asked to read and adhere to the Health & Safety Policy of The Floristry School at all times and to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Students who fail to comply with health and safety rules may be asked to leave the premises.

Course Location
All courses will be delivered at The Floristry School, Eagle Works, Cotton Mill Walk, Little Kelham, Sheffield. S3 8DH unless otherwise specified.
