Covid-19 

The Floristry School confirm that they have complied with the Government's guidance on managing the risk of COVID-19 within an educational environment.

We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and shared the results with all our students, staff and contractors. The risk assessment is reviewed weekly in line with the Governments recommendations.

We have several handwashing stations within the school and also entry and exit anti-bacterial hand cleaning fluid dispensers. Information posters are placed in prominent positions giving information and reminders to use the correct procedures set out.

We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance within the workspace and where people cannot be 2m apart, we have done everything practical to manage transmission risk.

We have taken all reasonable steps to help and encourage our students to study with us on-line.

All new students will undergo an induction to the workspace when visiting for the first time to ensure they understand what is expected to keep themselves and others around them safe.

Any staff students who display any of the symptoms relating to coronavirus are asked to stay at home and self-isolate and inform the team at The Floristry School immediately.
